How to Get Email Header?

Different email clients have different ways to view the email header:

  • Gmail: Open the email, click the three dots menu, select "Show original"
  • Outlook: Open the email, go to File → Properties, copy the headers from the "Internet headers" box
  • Yahoo Mail: Open the email, click "More" → "View Raw Message"

Why to Trace Email Sender IP?

How many times, have you received Email from an unknown person. The email could be about anything like threatening, a TIP, suggestion and for personal stuff. Sometime it's important to find the location of the Email sender to make a wild guess about who this anonymous Email sender is.
